Fun with Remarkable Wreath and paper Doilies!

So I've been having a lot of fun with the Close To My Heart
along with my paper doilies... The wreaths just fit so perfectly on the doilies!
I used the same layout for both cards. I got the idea from the last card I posted
using a Verve sketch, I just altered it a little bit. I am also entering into this
week's Heart 2 Heart challenge of 'Lots of Layers.'

For the first card I used Sparkle and Shine paper. The inks I used were: wreath in
whisper, the berries in ruby, the bow and the fancy circle in juniper,
and the sentiment in black. The paper doily I inked in juniper using my sponge.
I added some Opaques Pearls for dimension and liquid glass to the berries.

For the second card I used the Frosted paper pack. For the inks, I stamped the wreath
in whisper, the berries and sentiment in crystal blue, and the bow and fancy circle
in slate. The doily I inked with a silver ink pad with my sponge.
I added some Sparkles and Liquid Glass for some shine!

Holiday Gift Card Holders

Hope y'all have had a fabulous weekend! I can't complain
about mine, it's been quite relaxing! I wanted to share a few gift card
holders I made today using Close To My Heart products.

I used both the Frosted and Sparkle and Shine paper packs.
The stamps I used were Perfect Fit Holidays in the ink
colors of slate, ruby, juniper and crystal blue. I used a Marvy 1.5 inch
circle punch and a Fiskers scallop circle punch for the badge.

Want to make these yourself? Directions at the bottom!

Here are the cuts:

Base cardstock: 3.5 x 8.5 inches, scored at 2 inches from one end
and 2.5 inches from the other.

B&T or patterned paper: 1.75 x 3.25 inches, 2.25 x 3.25 inches,
and 3.75 x 3.25 inches.

Fun with CTMH's One-Way Borders

Good morning y'all! It's getting closer to the weekend!
Hope y'all are having a great week! I thought I'd share two
cards this morning that I made using CTMH products.

For my more feminine Thanks card I used a lagoon cardstock
base size 4.5 x 6.25 with a mat in gypsy and a background
base of white daisy. I stamped various borders from
the One-Way Borders stamp set in gypsy, lagoon, goldrush,
and whisper inks. Then for the sentiment I used the alphabet from
the September National Stamping Month promo. I stamped
it in Versamark on daisy white cardstock then embossed
with clear embossing powder. I then used a bit of my sponge
and rubbed in circles over my paper with lagoon ink.
This technique is called emboss resist. I set this on a piece of goldrush
cardstock, then popped up on pop dots. I finished up with a bit
of Silver Shimmer Trim for some sparkle.

For my masculine version I used the same techniques. The cardstock
I used was ruby, slate and white. The inks I used were
ruby, pacifica, and slate. I emboss resisted in pacifica ink.
I finished off this one with a bit of Ruby Chevron Ribbon.

Using up my CTMH Laughing Lola scraps

Good afternoon y'all! Hope your having a great week so far!
Some of you may know that this past Saturday
was World Cardmaking day! So of course I had to
participate in some sort of card challenge so I thought
I'd like to share my favorite card I made for the 4 part
challenge. The challenge for this card was to use the provided
sketch and either use chipboard, use an uncommon sentiment or
make a masculine card with a feminine embellishment or all three.
I chose the first 2.

For my card I used some left over bits of  Laughing Lola paper
that I had. I second generation stamped two different paisleys
from Paisley Perfect stamp set in slate and lagoon inks to made
the sentiment background. The sentiment I stamped in black is from the
September National Stamping Month promo. The arrows and flower
are chipboard pieces from the Laughing Lola Compliments. To add
a little sparkle I used some Black Shimmer Trim and two different
sizes from the Sparkles Clear Assortment.

CTMH Huntington and Always Grateful

Good morning friends! It's Friday! Whoop Whoop!
Think it'll be a good weekend of cool temps, laundry, and crafting!
Oh and I guess cleaning house since the hubs and I are hosting
Bible study on Monday night... Suppose it's a good thing
since it'll make me have to clean house!

I have a cute little card for y'all this morning! I used the
CTMH Huntington paper pack for this card. I just love these beautiful
colors! The base is redbarn cardstock cut to a 5.25 square. The olive
piece is embossed using a Darice honeycomb folder. I also added
some CTMH Bronze Shimmer Trim. I used the stamp set Always Grateful.
First I stamped the tree and sponged redbarn and goldrush inks over
my stamped image to give the illusion of leaves. I stamped the sentiment
in Olive and the little pumpkin in goldrush (it is from the Autumn/winter
petite perks set only available through a CTMH consultant) Be on the
look-out for a give-away I will be doing with this little set!

CTMH Huntington and September SOTM

Good morning blog-world friends! I thought I'd share
a quick card with y'all this morning!
For this card I used the CTMH Huntington Paper pack
and the September stamp of the month that's no longer
available... This is a really fun stamp because there
are so many options to how you can use it.
For this card I used the whole stamp though I am going
to make a card using only half of the stamp...

First I stamped the whole stamp in desert sand ink on colonial
white carstock. Then I picked the words I wanted to be
different colors and I wrapped my stamp set around a
2 x 3.5 My Acrylix Block to save ink and paper and only
get inked the word I wanted. I used Redbarn, goldrush and olive
inks for the words I picked out. I then cut the words out and
popped them up on pop dots over the words stamped
in desert sand. I then used a leaf embossing folder I had in my
stash to give the background some texture. The card base is
4.5 x 6.25 in Redbarn with a matting layer of desert sand
that I distressed using the CTMH edge distressing tool and then
inked the distressed edges. The little strips at the top
are zip-strips from the top of one of the B&T papers from
the paper pack. I also added a little bling with the
bronze shimmer trim and a little leaf from the Autumn/Winter
petite perks 4 stamp set only available from a CTMH consultant!
(be looking for a give-away I will be doing for this cute little set!)
I finished up the inside with a stamp from the Count Your Blessings set.
